Tuition Payment

Payment for tuition can be made in-person at the dojo or online in our e-store. You may also provide a credit card to be charged automatically on a regular basis. If so, you may cancel automatic billing at any time.

Return and Refund Policy

Connecticut Budo Karate, LLC (CBK) will issue a full refund for most items returned in new condition within 30 days of the purchase. Special orders for non-stocked items are sold “as-is” and normally cannot be returned. In this case, we will attempt to accommodate a return or exchange, but return shipping and re-stocking fees may apply. IMPORTANT: All returns to CBK must include either the original receipt or a gift receipt.

Warranty

Products you buy from Connecticut Budo Karate, LLC (CBK) come with a 14 day limited warranty. The warranty applies to products that have been confirmed as defective by CBK which may be repaired or replaced (at our sole discretion). Cancellation Policy

You may cancel automatic credit card billing for tuition at any time by logging into your customer account and disabling the auto-billing option. Alternatively, we can do this for you in-person, over the phone, or by email request.

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for the full tuition fee in the month in which you cancel, i.e., if you cancel your membership in August, you are responsible for August fees. Your membership for that month remains active and fully functional until the end of that month. After the end of the month, your membership will be canceled and you will not be charged again. It is not necessary to wait until the last day of the month to cancel your membership. Without a membership, training fees may be paid on a “drop-in” basis prior to the start of class.

IMPORTANT: There are no refunds given for tuition paid in advance. However, in cases of extended illness or injury (one month or more), membership may be suspended (with approval) for a period of time, extending the tuition period by the same time period. A doctor’s note might be required for approval.

Prices are subject to change. However, automatic credit card charges will never be increased without your prior approval. Prices will always be clearly displayed for review prior to purchase.

Privacy Policy

We value your business and are committed to protecting your privacy. We want your experience here to be positive and safe.

You may browse our site at any time without logging in and you will remain anonymous. We may track IP addresses in order to see which pages are being used, but we will not know who you are. Logging into the site will let us know who you are and we will be able to customize the site for you. Your log-on information will be used only by you for site customization, and your visits will always remain confidential.

For your safety and protection, your credit card information is not stored on our servers. Our payment gateway provider, PayTrace.com, keeps this information encrypted and secure on your behalf.

Customer information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without the consent of the customer, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested by the customer.

If you are placing an order, you will be required to provide personal information necessary for order processing. This information will be used for order processing only. Your name and past orders may be saved; however, credit card information will never be kept on file, and personal information will not be sold, exchanged or distributed to third parties. The email address you provide, for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.
